Nrtyāñjali Kalānikētana Institute was established in the year 1997 by Sri Ananth Nagaraj, Artistic Director. Started with just two students, the institution today is imparting education to many dance enthusiasts in Kalakshetra and Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam at its Pavamanapur, and Sanjaynagar branches. In this institution, not only dance, but also the all-round development of students is being guided in genres such as dance science, music, yoga etc.

The Institute provides special training for Bharatanatyam Junior, Senior and Vidwat Examinations conducted by the Government of Karnataka and, All India Gandharva Examinations. Several students have passed the dance examination with distinction. Under the guidance of Sri Ananth Nagaraj and his wife Smt Chaitra Ananth, the students of the institute have performed solo and group dances on many prestigious platforms and won accolades.

The directors of the institute Sri Ananth Nagaraj and his wife Smt Chaitra Ananth are performing at national and international platforms and are molding their students also into world-class matured dancers.
